Professor

Honorary Citizen of the City of Knoxville, TN, USA.
Professor of Graduate School for Creative Cities, Osaka City University, since 2017.
She is the author of “America’s National Parks Law: a Century of Cooperation and Conflict” and “Historique du Droit du Parc: de la France au Japon” .
Her fields are Administrative Law and Law of Civil Procedure.

KODAMA, Toru
Professor

Ph.D in Economics, Nagoya City University. In 1988 became Associate Professor at Osaka City University's Economic Research Institute, where he became full professor in 1998. Books include: European Housing Policy and Japan. Does research on urban housing problems and urban redevelopment. Examines the mutual relationship of the 'Three E's' (economy, equity, and environment) and how they affect cities in 'Urban Base Policy' and 'Urban Housing Policy.' Interests are: 1. creative urban policy, 2. eliminating social ostracism, and 3. sustainable city policies.

NAGATA, Junko
Associate Professor

Graduated from Coast Guard Academy, attended Saitama University Policy Research Department, completed doctoral course work at Osaka University. M.A. in Policy Analysis. Has experience as an officer in the Coast Guard and as a government official in Kasumigaseki. Research centers on practical integration of theories of policy and management studies with governmental organization. In 1998 became Associate Professor of the school administration course at the Coast Guard Academy. In addition to university research, she plays an active role in citizens' movements for regional empowerment and in reform of the public sector. She examines organizational management in 'Governmental Organization.'
